Levels of Appliance

Various sound resources can be combined or being focused at all levels of the musical hiearchy:
  • Wave form segments within a granular synthesis or another generic sound generation model, see beginning of Another Odyssey in "Clung Symphony"

  • Interactive sound clips, see Genesis in "Letters"

  • Various Cybertracks or musical phrases, see The Bell Drama II

  • Formal segments within a piece, for instance in a variation form, see Variazioni in "Electric Symphony"

  • Pieces within a musical cycle, see Black Bird's Garden

  • Complete monochrome cycles, see Electric Symphonies

Sound resources are appearing in different preferences. In Portraits of a Woman most sound resources are voice material while a few electronic resources are used in addition as a kind of "symbolic" sound level.

Sound resources are appearing in various degrees of multiple associations and combinations, see combination of instrumental and voice sound resources in cybertrack example Speaking Violin.
