What is Cybermusic?

Cybermusic - Any music that is created beyond physical control and the
primary reproduction of its musical sediments.

Physically Controlled Music Mechanical actions of the human body for the purpose of creating sounds: Striking, clapping, playing with the fingers, arms, or legs, bowing, blowing, and - of course - singing, and any other kind of voice actions. These real-time actions are applied to mechanical and hybrid (electro-acoustic) instruments or media. |

Non-Physical Music Creation Musical description, editing and control of sound operations within a cybernetic system of electronic sound production and reproduction. These systems are based on algorithmic models and may include psycho-acoustical parameters. |
